Former Leeds United boss Neil Warnock believes that the Elland Road outfit cannot afford to make another wrong managerial appointment.
Warnock has suggested that both Brian McDermott and Owen Coyle would be suitable candidates to replace him in Yorkshire, but he has urged the Championship outfit to bide their time in their search.
The former Queens Park Rangers chief told BBC Radio 5 live: "People like Brian McDermott would do a fabulous job, and Owen Coyle. There's quite a number of suitable managers and I think there will be a few more in the next few weeks.
"I think Leeds have to take their time. They can't just appoint somebody straight away and get the wrong one.
"They have got to make sure they get the right one that ticks all the right boxes."
Leeds are currently in 12th place in the Championship table.
