Team News: Lazio make four changes for Empoli visit

Lazio captain Stefano Mauri returns to the starting lineup in his side's Serie A match against Empoli.

Lazio manager Stefano Pioli has made four changes to his side ahead of this afternoon's Serie A match against Empoli.

Luis Pedro Cavanda, Lorik Cana and Senad Lulic are all brought into the defence with Dusan Basta and Mauricio suspended and Edson Braafheid dropped to the bench.

Captain Stefano Mauri is also restored to the starting lineup and takes the place of fellow midfielder Danilo Cataldi.

Empoli have made just one change from the team that were beaten by Juventus last weekend, as Lorenzo Tonelli comes in for Federico Barba.

Lazio: Berisha, Cavanda, De Vrij, Cana, Lulic, Biglia, Parolo, Candreva, Anderson, Mauri, Klose

Empoli: Sepe, Hysaj, Rugani, Tonelli, Rui, Vecino, Valdifiori, Croce, Saponara, Maccarone, Pucciarelli
