David Beckham claims that he has no plans to move to the A-League anytime soon.

Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has dismissed reports that he will move to the A-League.

The Football Federation Australia (FFA) claimed on Friday that it has been approached by the player's representatives for a short-term loan deal with an Australian club during the MLS off-season.

"No, definitely not true," the 37-year-old told reporters at the Home Depot Center after a training session on Friday.

"[Coach] Bruce [Arena] told me that this morning – the first I'd heard about it. Like I said, that's the first I'd heard of that, this morning."

Beckham's current contract with Galaxy runs until December 2013.
