Ashley Cole agrees Los Angeles Galaxy switch after leaving Roma

Former Arsenal, Chelsea and England full-back Ashley Cole agrees terms with MLS side LA Galaxy following his release by Roma.

Former Arsenal, Chelsea and England left-back Ashley Cole has agreed to join MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy following his exit from Roma earlier today.

The 35-year-old had his contract mutually terminated by the Serie A side this afternoon having failed to make a single competitive appearance for the club so far this season.

Cole made just 16 Roma appearances overall after moving to Italy from Chelsea in July 2014.

The defender, who has been capped 107 times for England, has now agreed terms to move to America and join LA Galaxy, where he will partner up with fellow England centurion and former international teammate Steven Gerrard.

Cole brings vast experience to the MLS outfit having won three Premier League titles, the Champions League, the Europa League and a record seven FA Cups.
