Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has revealed that he is close to signing a new contract with the Italian champions.
The 26-year-old's current deal with the Turin giants runs out in June 2016.
"I think it is a quality of mine that I am always happy," he told Sky Sport Italia. "I know how important it is for me to wear the Juventus jersey and I always try to give my all.
"I haven't played as a goalkeeper yet, but the coach (Antonio Conte) might test me out there!
"There is very little to go until we sign the new contract. I could sign it tomorrow or the day after, I'm just waiting for the club."
Vidal scored a hat-trick for Juve against Copenhagen in the Champions League Group B on Wednesday and said that he is taking the match ball home as a gift for his son.
"It's the first hat-trick of my career and I'm taking the ball back home," he said.
"It's a gift for my son, to show him when I played this game. We are expecting a little girl now, so I'm very happy."
Vidal joined Juventus from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011.
