Juventus will reportedly hold talks with veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon over a one-year contract extension next week.
The Italy international has registered 322 clean sheets in 682 games for the Italian giants over his 19-season spell in Turin.
Last week it was revealed that Buffon was considering spending one more year away from Juventus before retiring, with his contract drawing to a close at the end of the season.
However, according to Tuttosport, Juventus are keen to keep the World Cup-winning keeper for another season, with chairman Andrea Agnelli planning to persuade Buffon to stay another season.
The Old Lady still believe that the 43-year-old is a key player for them, despite the fact that he is no longer number one, with Poland international Wojciech Szczesny favoured over him.
Buffon made a rare start for Juventus in a big match against Napoli on Wednesday, helping the champions to a 2-1 win.
