Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo has agreed a move to MLS side New York City FC.
Since the end of the season, there has been much speculation surrounding the future of the former Italy international, who joined Juventus from AC Milan four years ago.
However, the situation has now been cleared up on the club's official website, where it has been announced that the 36-year-old will continue his career in the Big Apple.
"It has been an honour and a privilege to have shared these four fantastic seasons with Andrea and all associated with Juventus Football Club wish him the very best for the future," read a Juve statement.
Pirlo won the Serie A title in each of his four seasons with the Old Lady, as well as lifting the Coppa Italia last term.
His switch to the Yankee Stadium will see Pirlo team up with Frank Lampard and David Villa.
