Team News: Arturo Vidal starts at centre-back for Juventus

Juventus are forced to switch Arturo Vidal to centre-back against Livorno this afternoon with a string of players absent through injury and suspension.

Juventus coach Antonio Conte has been forced to use Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal in an unfamiliar centre-back role for this afternoon's Serie A clash with Livorno.

The Old Lady are without Leonardo Bonucci and Angelo Ogbonna through suspension, so Vidal is switched to partner Giorgio Chiellini and Martin Caceres at centre-back despite missing international duty with a thigh problem.

Fernando Llorente continues in attack alongside Carlos Tevez, while Claudio Marchisio is back in midfield to fill the void left by Vidal.

Livorno, meanwhile, have top scorer Paulinho out with a ban, which means that Innocent Emeghara partners Luca Siligardi in attack.

Livorno: Bardi; Coda, Rinaudo, Ceccherini; Schiattarella, Luci, Emerson, Greco, Mbaye; Siligardi, Emeghara

Juventus: Buffon; Caceres, Vidal, Chiellini; Padoin, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah; Tevez, Llorente
