Sunday's Serie A predictions including Juventus vs. Inter Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Juventus vs. Inter Milan.

Cagliari vs. Monza (Sunday, 11.30am)

Having hauled themselves off the foot of the table before the international break, Cagliari seek a third straight home win on Sunday, when they host mid-table Monza.

Though the Isolani slipped back into Serie A's drop zone after losing to Juventus, they have improved following a slow start to their comeback campaign. Meanwhile, Monza continue to defy their status as provincial outsiders.

We say: Cagliari 1-1 Monza

Monza rarely score more than once, but that should be good enough for a point in Cagliari, as only three Serie A sides have conceded fewer goals than the Biancorossi this season. Meanwhile, the hosts can keep momentum building by extending their unbeaten streak in Sardinia, which may even edge them out of the drop zone.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Empoli vs. Sassuolo (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Separated by two points and two places in the Serie A standings, Empoli and Sassuolo convene at Stadio Carlo Castellani on Sunday, both aiming to pull further clear of the drop zone.

While the hosts stunned Serie A's reigning champions Napoli just before the international break, their visitors' last league win came back in September.

We say: Empoli 0-0 Sassuolo

In the brief history of these two clubs' Serie A encounters, they have never played out a single draw: 12 previous matches have brought seven wins for Sassuolo and five for Empoli. However, given both teams' limitations at the moment, they may have to settle for one point apiece on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Frosinone vs. Genoa (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Newly-promoted clubs Frosinone and Genoa meet in Serie A at the Stadio Benito Stirpe on Sunday.

This will be a repeat of the fixture played on the penultimate weekend of the Serie B campaign last season, which Frosinone won 3-2 to clinch the title at the expense of Genoa.

We say: Frosinone 1-1 Genoa

Many of Genoa's recent fixtures have been cagey affairs, and with not much to separate the sides, another could be in store.

Frosinone have been excellent at home this season and will be confident of keeping their unbeaten run going here, even if they are unable to find all three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Roma vs. Udinese (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Looking to bounce back after faltering just before the international break, Roma host Serie A strugglers Udinese on Sunday evening.

Following their Europa League defeat to Slavia Prague and a goalless derby draw with Lazio, the Giallorossi are aiming for victory at Stadio Olimpico this weekend.

We say: Roma 1-0 Udinese

Roma should return to winning ways this weekend, ahead of an important trip to Switzerland, where Europa League rivals Servette await next Thursday. As Udinese lack sufficient firepower to seriously threaten their hosts, they will leave the capital empty-handed.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Juventus vs. Inter Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)

The Serie A weekend reaches its crescendo on Sunday evening, as Juventus host Scudetto rivals Inter Milan in the Derby d'Italia - the 181st league meeting between two Italian giants.

Juve trail leaders Inter by just two points in the standings, so victory in Turin would take them above their old foes and back to the summit, after a long spell in the Nerazzurri's shadow.

We say: Juventus 0-1 Inter Milan

Only Ligue 1's Nice have conceded fewer goals than Inter (six) and Juventus (seven) throughout Europe's top five leagues this season, so a single strike could be enough to separate the sides on Sunday. Juve may have made up ground and are generally dominant at home to their old rivals, but the Nerazzurri are set to prevail and open up a five-point lead atop Serie A.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.
