Preview: Juventus vs. Sampdoria

Sports Mole previews the match in Serie A between league leaders Juventus and Sampdoria.

Juventus will head into their Serie A fixture with Sampdoria looking to find the back of the net for the first time in three games.

The league leaders have gone five matches without defeat on the domestic scene, but coach Massimiliano Allegri may have concerns after seeing his team fail to score against either Fiorentina or Atletico Madrid.

Allegri will be looking to Fernando Llorente and Alvaro Morata to improve their strike-rate in front of goal, with the Spanish duo having netted just four goals each all season.

Juventus go into the contest just three points clear of Roma, but Allegri's outfit have only played six games at home compared to eight by their nearest challengers.

Sampdoria travel to Turin having only lost once in 16 matches all season, but seven draws in 14 league fixtures have hindered their attempt to challenge the top two in the standings.

Sinisa Mihajlovic's team prepared for their trip to the leaders with a 3-1 victory over Hellas Verona last weekend.

An alteration in defence could see Daniele Gastaldello included in place of Matias Silvestre.
