Claudio Marchisio: 'Paul Pogba fortunate to be at Juventus'

Claudio Marchisio believes that Paul Pogba has been fortunate to be given the chance to develop at Juventus.

Claudio Marchisio has claimed that Paul Pogba should consider himself lucky to be able to develop his game at Juventus.

Pogba's form in Turin over the past three seasons has seen him linked with moves to Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City, but Marchisio believes that the 21-year-old can continue to grow with the Serie A champions.

"We are talking about a natural here, a pure talent. He still has a lot of room for improvement and will only get better," the Italian midfielder told Tuttosport.

"He is fortunate enough to be able to develop in the right environment, because Juventus are a great place for young talents to grow.

"He has been able to mature in all calm here, without having to think about all kinds of distractions. The city of Turin has also played a role in this."

Pogba was among the scorers as Juventus booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia with a 6-1 victory over Hellas Verona on Thursday.
