Juventus coach Antonio Conte has insisted that his side were worthy winners in the Turin derby, despite the victory coming in controversial circumstances.
The Old Lady prevailed 1-0 against Torino thanks to a header early in the second half from Paul Pogba, who reacted quickest after Carlos Tevez's effort came back off the crossbar.
Replays showed that Tevez was offside in the build-up to Pogba's goal, but Conte has fired back by insisting that Ciro Immobile should have been sent off for a late challenge on the Argentine forward.
He told Sky Sport Italia: "Today we were much more attentive and didn't allow Torino anything, There was only one team that looked for the victory and that was Juventus.
"I was told Tevez was offside during the goal, but he also risked his ankle on Immobile's challenge before that. He suffered a serious cut to his ankle and who knows how it might've ended if Toro had gone down to 10 men. Immobile should've been sent off.
"Mistakes can happen for referees and it is inevitable that debatable incidents will occur, but the team played well and took the initiative throughout."
Conte's side are still unbeaten in Serie A this season, with five wins a draw from their six matches.
