Juventus player Emre Can has revealed that Jurgen Klopp wished him luck after he left Liverpool earlier this summer.
After four years at the Anfield side, Can departed the Champions League finalists on a free transfer to the Serie A outfit, where he will link up with former Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo.
"My relationship with Klopp was always good. He wished me all the best when I told him I was leaving," the German international told BBC Sport. "Not a lot of managers would let you play so many times when you are in the final year of your contract.
"But I always did my best. I always wanted to help the team. That is what he saw. That is why he kept faith with me."
Can was signed by previous Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers and made 100 appearances, scoring 10 goals.
