Lyon boss Remi Garde anticipating stern Juventus test

Lyon manager Remi Garde admits that his side have a mountain to climb when they take on Juventus in the Europa League.

Lyon manager Remi Garde has admitted that his side faces a stern test of their mettle when they meet Juventus in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

The Frenchman believes that his young players will gain vital experience against the Serie A leaders, but is under no illusions about the size of the task at hand.

"We have a mountain before us and should try to climb it by all means," he told reporters. "My players are young, but they are ambitious and this kind of game will make them grow."

Lyon will play host to Juventus for the first leg on Friday, with the return fixture taking place in Turin next week.
