Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne will reportedly be included in Cesare Prandelli's Italy squad for a friendly against Argentina later this month.
Insigne has a single full Azzurri cap to his name that he earned under Prandelli during a World Cup qualifier against Malta last year.
Prandelli is impressed by the schemer's impact for Italy's Under-21 side during this summer's European Championships, and a place in the squad for the Argentina match will be the youngster's reward, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
The 22-year-old will be joined in the Italy squad for the match on August 14 by Marco Verratti and Alessandro Florenzi, with new AC Milan midfielder Andrea Poli also rumoured to be part of Prandelli's plans.
A match between the two teams at the Stadio Olimpico has been arranged in honour of Pope Francis, who will receive both squads in a reception at the Vatican 24 hours before the clash.
