Cesare Prandelli says that his team are physically and mentally stronger than when they faced Spain in their Euro 2012 opener.

Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has said that Spain will face a different side to the one they faced in their opening game of Euro 2012.

The two teams raised the curtain on Group C with a 1-1 draw in Gdansk, with Cesc Fabregas's goal cancelling out Antonio Di Natale's opener.

They will do battle once again tomorrow, this time in the final in Kiev.

Prandelli said that his team must not be overawed by the reigning world and European champions and believes that his side have enough quality to win.

"We are physically and mentally stronger than when we faced them in our opening game," said Prandelli. "We only have one day to prepare for this game but we will try to find Spain's weaknesses.

"They are the world and European champions and they are an example to everyone, but we have grown and we should not fear them.

"We have to have the strength to face them with ideas and quality."

Prandelli took charge of the Azzurri in 2010.
