Aristote Nsiala and Jon Nolan reunite with former Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Hurst at Ipswich Town on three-year deals.

Ipswich Town have confirmed the double signing of Aristote Nsiala and Jon Nolan from Shrewsbury Town for undisclosed fees.

Tractor Boys boss Paul Hurst knows the duo well, having worked with them at New Meadow prior to succeeding Mick McCarthy in East Anglia.

Both men played a key part in Shrewsbury's run to the League One playoff final last season, where they suffered defeat to Rotherham United in extra time.

Nsiala and Nolan have been finalising personal terms with Ipswich over the past couple of days, with the Championship outfit believed to have paid a combined £2m to Shrewsbury.

The pair have signed three-year deals, which could be extended by a further 12 months.

Ipswich announced the departure of striker Martyn Waghorn to Derby County earlier today.
