Ipswich Town have announced that captain Luke Chambers has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract at Portman Road.
The defender, who has made more than 100 appearances for the Tractor Boys, is committed to the club until 2017, with the option of a further year.
"I'm absolutely loving my football right now and I couldn't be happier at Ipswich," Chambers told the club's official website. "I'm happy here, I'm proud to be captain and, most importantly, I want to play for [manager] Mick McCarthy."
The 29-year-old, who has scored six goals for the Championship outfit, moved to Ipswich from Nottingham Forest in 2012.
