Hugo Campagnaro targets Inter Milan improvement

Hugo Campagnaro believes that Inter Milan will improve under new coach Walter Mazzarri.

Inter Milan's summer signing Hugo Campagnaro has targeted an improvement on the side's ninth-place finish in Serie A last season.

Campagnaro, who joined up with his former Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri at his new club earlier this month, said that the players are all "working hard" for their new boss.

"This is the seventh pre-season retreat that I have participated in with Mazzarri in charge," Campagnaro told Sport Italia. "We're working hard.

"I have come from a city where the passion of the fans is high, but the stands here are full with supporters and I've rarely seen that.

"The expectation is to improve on last season. Now we must give our all and start the campaign with the intention of winning every game that we take part in."

Campagnaro and Mazzarri's former side Napoli finished runners-up in Serie A last season.
