Sunderland midfielder David Meyler completes a loan move to Hull City, where the 23-year-old will play until January 1.

Hull City have announced the capture of Sunderland midfielder David Meyler on a temporary deal.

The 23-year-old, who has been unable to secure a regular starting spot in the Black Cats' lineup, will move to the KC Stadium until January 1.

Meyler, who has played under Hull boss Steve Bruce during his time as manager at the Stadium of Light, has made five appearances for Sunderland this season.

The midfielder will wear the number 31 shirt during his loan stint.
