Hull City and West Bromwich Albion have both been offered the chance to sign former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan on loan, according to reports.
Hull and West Brom have both been linked with a number of strikers in recent weeks as Steve Bruce and Tony Pulis look to hand their respective squads a boost in the battle to steer clear of the relegation zone.
Forlan is currently playing for Cerezo Osaka in Japan, but the Daily Mail claims that the 35-year-old is available to Premier League clubs for the remainder of the campaign.
Hull are being forced to focus on loan targets due to a lack of transfer funds, which means that a temporary move for Forlan could be a possibility.
West Brom are one of a number of Premier League clubs to be linked with Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede, but the Championship side are demanding £6m for his services.
