Hull City boss Steve Bruce has admitted that injury problems have affected his team's start to the season.
The Tigers are currently one point adrift of safety in the Premier League table thanks to six defeats from their opening 15 games.
However, Bruce believes that injuries to the likes of Abel Hernandez, Gaston Ramirez and Robert Snodgrass have had a negative impact on Hull during the campaign.
"It has been a frustrating thing for me because I haven't been able to play what I think is my best team, but that is the way it is and you're going to get injuries and suspensions," he told the club's official website. "The effort and the endeavour from the team has been evident and it's a case of finding that right blend."
Hull can end their eight-game winless run in the Premier League on Saturday when they face leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
