Hull City midfielder Robert Koren has admitted that the Premier League remains the most important competition for the club, despite them having reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Koren said that a home win over Newcastle United would be vital to move the club potentially nine points away from relegation danger in the top flight.
"Our main thing is to stay in the league and Newcastle is a really important game for us," he told the Hull Daily Mail. "We're playing at home in front of our fans and we want to win the game for three points.
"That will give us another lift for the next round of the FA Cup. We must concentrate on one game at a time and make sure we are strong in the league."
Hull beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 on Monday night to reach the FA Cup quarters.
