Huddersfield Town capture keeper Joe Murphy

Huddersfield Town sign Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper Joe Murphy on a two-year contract.

Huddersfield Town have signed Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper Joe Murphy on a two-year contract.

The 32-year-old stopper joins the Terriers on a free transfer, with his Coventry City contract due to expire later this month.

He has appeared in all but one of Coventry's league games in the last three seasons after joining the Sky Blues from Scunthorpe United in 2011.

Murphy has previously worked with Huddersfield boss Mark Robins at Coventry and becomes his first signing of the summer.
