Half-Time Report: Nouha Dicko puts Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead at the break

Wolverhampton Wanderers find themselves leading Huddersfield Town 1-0 at half time in the Championship, following Nouha Dicko's first-half opener.

Nouha Dicko's first-half finish has given promotion-chasing Wolverhampton Wanderers a 1-0 half-time lead over hosts Huddersfield Town in the Championship this evening.

Town's James Vaughan looked to set the game alight in the early stages when he took aim from range to fire just wide of the right post.

Wolves came back soon after to open the scoring with their first major attempt, as Rajiv van La Parra picked out a perfect through-ball for striker Dicko, who tucked home adroitly into the bottom corner.

Huddersfield looked to counter with something of their own through Harry Bunn, who produced a cross for Vaughan, but he headed wide of Tomasz Kuszczak's goal.

The hosts continued to search for a leveller before the interval and Ishmael Miller seemed pivotal to finding it, only for Kuszczak to deny the on-rushing Bunn inside the Wolves box.

The Wanderers keeper was on hand yet again right on the stroke of half time when he pulled off an outstanding save to deny Sean Scannell.
