Hoffenheim say no to Patrick Ochs

Patrick Ochs will not be joining Hoffenheim from Wolfsburg upon conclusion of his loan spell.

Bundesliga side Hoffenheim have confirmed that they will not be making Patrick Ochs's loan deal from Wolfsburg permanent.

The player has returned to his parent club following Hoffenheim's successful battle against relegation by beating Kaiserslautern in the playoff.

"Patrick Ochs is returning to Wolfsburg, we will not be signing him permanently," Sky Sports News quotes Hoffenheim director Alexander Rosen as saying.

"We wish Patrick all the best for his future career, as we would like to thank him also for his efforts to help keep our club in the Bundesliga."

Ochs played 12 times for Hoffenheim during his loan spell.
