Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs insists that any team that faces his side in the Scottish Cup will have to battle to take the trophy away from them.

Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs has warned the remaining teams in the Scottish Cup that they will face a battle to knock his side out of the competition.

Hibs brushed aside Berwick in the sixth round with a 4-0 victory at Easter Road to reach the last four of the cup, a tournament in which the club have not lifted the trophy in 109 years.

He told Sky Sports News: "I thought we were professional. Today was all about getting ourselves in the hat, so from that point of you I'm delighted. We're not just going to Hampden for the day out.

"Whoever we play it will be tough, but we will be tough for them as well, no-one will want to play us either. Berwick did great and this was their day, all the credit goes to them because they've done fantastically to get to this stage but unfortunately for them their run ended here.

"We've got a good balance, with very intelligent footballers who are hungry and have points to prove. I'm just delighted that we managed to get through."

Hibs will face off against Falkirk in the semi-finals of the competition.
