Daniel Jervis helps Wales to bronze in 1,500m

Daniel Jervis wins Wales's seventh medal in swimming at the Commonwealth Games after coming third in the 1,500m freestyle.

Daniel Jervis has won bronze for Wales at the Commonwealth Games by claiming a third-place finish in tonight's 1,500m swimming freestyle final.

The 18-year-old produced a mature performance and clocked a time of 14:55.33 to pip Australia's Jordan Harrison to a podium finish.

Canada's Ryan Cochrane won the gold, producing a winning time of 14:44.03 to edge out Harrison's fellow Aussie Mack Horton in silver.

Jervis's compatriot Jazz Carlin added to her gold from last night by winning silver in tonight's 400m freestyle.
