Barcelona B come from behind to win

Barcelona B come from behind to record a 2-1 win over Girona on Saturday.

Barcelona B have moved out of the relegation zone in the Segunda Division after coming from behind to record a 2-1 win over Girona on Saturday.

It was the home side who made most of the early running, with Jandro and David Timor both coming close to opening the scoring inside a lively 25 minutes of football.

The goal eventually came after 28 minutes when Jandro converted from close range, but Barca were level less than five minutes later when Javier Espinosa found the back of the net for his third league goal of the season.

Both teams had chances in an end-to-end second period, but it was the away side who scored the decisive goal.

This time it came from Edu Bedia, who struck just past the hour mark to hand his side all three points.

The defeat means that Girona remain in 10th position on 19 points.
