The England striker has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the R's but he will not face Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.
The news emerged earlier in the evening that Zamora was undergoing a medical at Loftus Road, but the two parties have now agreed personal terms.
Zamora scored 37 goals in 133 games for Fulham.
