Fulham boss Martin Jol reveals that he wants to sign a number of players during the January transfer window.

Fulham manager Martin Jol has revealed that he is keen on bringing a number of new faces to the club during the January transfer window.

The Cottagers signed eight players over the summer, including Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.

However, Jol wants to boost his squad further in order to compete with the sides above them in the Premier League table.

"It's a cliche but we always look for players who can strengthen our team," the Dutchman told the Fulham Chronicle.

"I want to build a top team and that needs a very good footballing side that can compete with the likes of Spurs, Arsenal and Everton."

Fulham continue their league campaign at Stoke City on Saturday.
