Fulham target Terry Antonis has made the decision to sign a new contract with Australian club Sydney FC.
It had been rumoured that Martin Jol had signalled his intention to sign the 19-year-old in January, but Antonis has revealed that he wishes to further his development in his home country.
Antonis told the Brisbane Times: "I'm excited about signing again at Sydney FC.
"I started at the club when I was 16 and they have been very good to me. I want to continue my development in Australia before I think about any options overseas.
"I want to concentrate on my club football with Sydney FC and I'm happy that this is sorted out"
Antonis had won three international caps for Australia.
