Fulham defender Sascha Riether insists that the Cottagers have the quality to finish in the top half of the Premier League next season.

Fulham defender Sascha Riether believes that the Cottagers have the quality to finish in the top half of the Premier League table next season.

The 30-year-old, who made his loan move from Koln permanent this summer, has also backed manager Martin Jol to add fresh blood to the squad before the start of the 2013-14 campaign.

"Our goal is to be in the top 10. I think that's possible if we keep our game solid and structured," he told reporters at a press conference.

"I think there might be another player or two who might join us so we'll have a strong team for the Premier League season."

Fulham finished 12th in the league last season.
