Fulham captain Tom Cairney has declared that his side are playing Premier League-quality football in the Championship.
The midfielder's bold claim comes amid a run of 11 wins in 14 matches for the Whites, who are unbeaten since mid-December and five points away from the automatic promotion places.
"We know on our day we can beat anyone," the 27-year-old told The Independent. "I think every game at the minute we're getting like eight or nine very good performers on the pitch out of the starting XI.
"I've said it from last season, I think we play Premier League football in the Championship.
"We play on the grass, and nine times out of 10 we dominate possession and lots of shots at goal. It's great to play in and I'm sure it's great to watch."
Fulham are back in Championship action at the weekend when they travel to playoff-chasing Preston North End.
