France forward Olivier Giroud has revealed that his teammate Franck Ribery is "worried" about his place in the national team because of a back injury.
Reports claimed over the weekend that the Bayern Munich star could miss the World Cup due to back pain that he has been struggling with for the last few weeks.
"He began to be angry," L'Equipe quotes Giroud as saying. "I do not know if true, but he is worried and concerned about his situation.
"We must help him hold on and be patient. When I'm injured for three days, I lose it. It is on the eve of the World Cup."
Ribery was absent from France's 1-1 draw with Paraguay in Sunday's World Cup warm-up match.
