France boss Didier Deschamps confirms that Samir Nasri could return to the international fold against Spain.

France boss Didier Deschamps has revealed that Samir Nasri could return to the international fold after completing a three-match ban.

The 25-year-old was banned for three games following an incident involving journalists at Euro 2012, but he could come back into the squad for the clash with Spain.

When questioned whether Nasri was available, Deschamps told reporters: "He will be part of the shortlist, which is very big.

"I have not condemned any players in my mind. I do not know exactly what happened at the Euros but I know a lot about it. This is important. But it also belongs in the past."

Nasri has 35 international caps to his name.
