Fenerbahce forward Dirk Kuyt will not be leaving the Turkish club for Napoli during the summer, according to the player's agent.

Fenerbahce forward Dirk Kuyt is happy to remain at the Turkish club, according to the player's agent.

Speculation had arisen linking Kuyt with a move to Napoli to team up with former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez, but agent, Rob Jansen has insisted that the 32-year-old will stay in Turkey.

Jansen told Calciomercato.it: "Kuyt to Napoli with Benitez? Nobody has called me and I think he will remain at Fenerbahce.

"He is happy and is very well in Turkey."

Kuyt scored 17 goals in 56 appearances for Fenerbahce last season.
