Everton's Joseph Yobo is to make a permanent move to Fenerbahce.

Everton's Joseph Yobo is to make a permanent move to Fenerbahce, The Sun reports.

The Nigerian international has been on loan at the Turkish club for two seasons, and they are ready to make a £1.5m offer for him.

Toffees boss David Moyes is said to be keen to offload the defender, who is surplus to requirements at Goodison Park.

Yobo, who made 69 appearances for Fenerbahce, failed to hold down a first-team place at Everton due to the form of Phil Jagielka and Sylvain Distin.

Everton have also been linked with a move for Swedish international defender Olof Mellberg, though an official approach is yet to be made.
