Report: Everton beat Swansea City to Muhamed Besic

A report claims that Everton have won the race to sign highly-rated midfielder Muhamed Besic from Ferencvaros.

Everton have reportedly beaten Swansea City to the signing of Muhamed Besic.

The 21-year-old, who currently represents Hungarian side Ferencvaros, came to the attention of a number of European clubs this summer following an impressive World Cup for his country Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Swansea had reportedly been the favourites to sign the midfielder, but according to talkSPORT, Everton have agreed personal terms with Besic and a deal will soon be announced.

Besic started his senior career in Germany with Hamburg.
