Luke Garbutt 'agrees new five-year Everton contract'

Everton defender Luke Garbutt is reportedly close to agreeing a new five-year contract at Goodison Park.

Everton defender Luke Garbutt has reportedly agreed a new five-year contract with the Merseyside club.

The 22-year-old is expected to join Bournemouth on a season-long loan this summer.

There were suggestions that Garbutt would leave Goodison Park permanently after contract talks stalled last season, but according to the Daily Mail, the youngster is poised to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Garbutt, who is currently with the England Under-21s for the European Championships in the Czech Republic, made five Premier League appearances in the 2014-15 campaign.
