Everton could battle Manchester United for the signature of Aston Villa's Jack Grealish this summer, according to a report.

Everton have reportedly joined the race for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.

The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for Dean Smith's side during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring nine times and contributing eight assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.

Manchester United are believed to have identified the Englishman as a leading transfer target.

However, according to Football Insider, Everton are also planning a move for the attacking midfielder during this summer's transfer window.

The report claims that the Toffees are hopeful that the presence of Carlo Ancelotti as head coach will help lure Grealish to Goodison Park ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

The Villa academy product, who has scored seven Premier League goals this season, has a contract at Villa Park until the summer of 2023.
