Everton are reportedly targeting a January move for Feyenoord defender Bruno Martins Indi.
The 21-year-old has become a full Dutch international after starring for the Under-21 side during the summer.
According to The Mirror, Everton were close to signing the Portuguese-born star on deadline day but couldn't complete a deal in time.
Now Roberto Martinez is ready to go back in for the defender, who can operate at left-back of centre-back.
Indi is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League and his manager Ronald Koeman has admitted that it may be difficult to keep him.
He is quoted in the story as saying: "Sometimes you can't stand in the way of a player who needs a bigger stage to develop into a world-class player. We have two or three player we may have to sell and Bruno is one of them."
Everton believe an offer of around £6m could be enough to secure his signature.
