Everton have loaned young midfielder Nikola Vlasic to Russian giants CSKA Moscow for the duration of the 2018-19 campaign.
The 20-year-old, a £10m signing from Hajduk Split on deadline day last summer, made 19 first-team appearances for the Toffees in his maiden campaign at Goodison Park.
Following the arrival of new boss Marco Silva, however, Vlasic was told to train away from his teammates and has now been sent out on loan.
CSKA will compete in the Champions League this season after finishing runners-up to rivals Lokomotiv Moscow last time out.
Croatia international Vlasic was not alone in being ostracised by Silva, with Kevin Mirallas and Ashley Williams also being moved on.
