Everton are interested in signing Wolfsburg midfielder Aster Vranckx, according to a report.
The 19-year-old has been used 15 times in the Bundesliga this season, scoring two goals in the process, while he has made four appearances in the Champions League as well.
Frank Lampard immediately brought in several players when he took charge of the Toffees, with Dele Alli and Donny van de Beek moving to Goodison Park, but he has his eyes set on the next transfer window already.
According to Voetbal Primeur, Everton are tracking the Belgian footballer, but they are not the only club that are doing so, and the German outfit will demand a high price to let him leave.
Vranckx only joined Wolfsburg last summer, costing them £7.2m from KV Mechelen, and since then he has also been able to transition into a defensive midfield role as well.
Everton will be back in action on Thursday when they face Boreham Wood in the FA Cup fifth round.
