Report: Everton eager to sign AC Milan's Stephan El Shaarawy

Everton are lining up a move for AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy as they seek to replace departed striker Samuel Eto'o, according to reports.

Everton are lining up a move for AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy in a bid to replace Samuel Eto'o, according to reports.

The 22-year-old Italy international exploded onto the scene in Serie A several seasons ago, but has found himself struggling at the San Siro of late.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Toffees - who have seen Eto'o move to Sampdoria this week - have been in contact with Milan over a deal for El Shaarawy.

The Savona-born youngster has also allegedly been courted by Roma during this month's transfer window.
