Everton, Fulham to battle for Matias Schelotto

Fulham and Everton are hoping to beat off competition from Atalanta's Serie A rivals to sign their winger Matias Schelotto.

Everton and Fulham will both try to lure Atalanta winger Matias Schelotto to England in January, according to reports.

The Argentine has impressed with his performances in Serie A this season and has been linked with several of Italy's top sides.

However, the Premier League duo are also interested in Schelotto, who has been valued by his club at £5m.

The 23-year-old holds an EU passport so a work permit would not be required to validate a potential transfer.
