Gerard Deulofeu eyes lengthy Everton stay

Everton's Spanish winger Gerard Deulofeu reveals that he is planning to remain at Goodison Park "for a lot of years".

Gerard Deulofeu has insisted that he would like to remain an Everton player "for a lot of years".

The Spaniard signed for the Toffees from Barcelona in the summer, having also spent the 2013-14 campaign on loan at Goodison Park.

Barca inserted a buy-back clause as part of the deal that took the 21-year-old to Merseyside and recent speculation had claimed that they may look to trigger it at the end of the season.

However, Deulofeu has stressed that he has every intention of staying at Everton.

"I am so happy to be staying here a long time. When I stayed here the first time, I love Everton and now I've come back. I hope to stay here for a lot of years," he said at an official club event last night.

The winger has scored one goal and laid on five assists from his 11 Premier League appearances this term.
