Chelsea are reportedly considering making an offer for Everton defender John Stones.

The 19-year-old, who has made 22 first-team appearances for the Toffees this season, is also rumoured to have attracted the attention of Arsenal.

According to the Daily Mail, the London pair are poised to bid for Stones this summer, but Everton boss Roberto Martinez is not keen on parting with the talented youngster.

Stones arrived at Goodison Park in a £3m move from Barnsley in January 2013.

He has been capped eight times by England at Under-21 level.
