Everton manager Marco Silva insists that he has no concerns regarding Richarlison's ability to make the fans "proud" following his £50m switch from Watford.

Everton manager Marco Silva has insisted that he has no doubts about Richarlison's ability to justify his price tag.

The Brazilian winger reunited with former Watford manager Silva at Goodison Park earlier this summer in a deal which could rise to £50m, despite failing to score a Premier League goal from November until the end of last season.

However, he made a dream start to his Everton career with two goals on his competitive debut this afternoon, earning the 10-man Toffees a point away to newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers.

"I don't have doubts. Even when he doesn't score he works really hard to help his team," Silva told BBC Sport.

"I'm sure the fans will be proud of him. He did very well. He worked hard, which is what I expect from him."

Richarlison is the first Everton player to score a brace on his Premier League debut since Jo in 2009.
