Louis Saha claims that David Moyes tried to "provoke" him by leaving the striker out of Everton's Premier League match against Wigan three months ago.

Louis Saha has claimed that any problems he once had with Everton boss David Moyes have now been resolved.

The 33-year-old has admitted that there have been "tensions" between the pair following Moyes's snubbing the Frenchman in the Toffees' 3-1 win over Wigan Athletic in September.

"My relationship with the coach? It's logical there are small tensions," The Express quotes Saha as saying. "Being banned from the group [against Wigan]? Maybe he wanted to provoke me. The most important thing is we had the explanations I needed. Now I am playing again."

Everton are 12 in the Premier League table, claiming just five wins in 14 matches.
